Reined Cow Horse

March, 2020

The Northeast Colorado Cow Horse Club has been tabled, but there is a lot of activity in the CRCHA and Slidin Daze, and the sport is growing like crazy! Get involved and have fun!  We also have two 4 year old prospects for sale.

February, 2019

We are still monitoring interest in forming the Northeast Colorado Cow Horse Club, but as of now, there does not seem to be sufficient interest to justify the activity. Watch here and Facebook for additional information.

August, 2018

Ranch Horse Versatility Contest at Middle Park Fair and Rodeo – Friday, August 10th at 9am. Four Divisions, four classes, overall Champions. Money and prizes.

Update March 19, 2018 – We will not be forming the Northeast Colorado club to hold weekly practices, but plan on producing monthly “Practice Shows” to allow riders to warm up for the CRCA monthly events. Watch here and on Facebook for information.

February, 2018

We are exploring establishing a Reined Cow Horse Club to provide weekly practices and monthly “practice shows” on the northern front range of Colorado.

The club would run from April through June (2018) and provide weekly practices in the evening, 1 day per week, with activities including Herd Work, Reining, Cow/Fence/Boxing and Steer Stopping. A monthly “practice” show would be held for participants to warm up for the sanctioned Colorado Reined Cow Horse shows coming every month throughout the summer.

Cost would be $450 per member, with membership limited to 25 to ensure the availability of quality cattle and timely practices.
